Rules of Play
Ø
Out-of-Bounds are
defined by white stakes and \
or lines &
the inside edges of paves roads.

are defined by yellow stakes

are defined by red stakes and

Ground under Repair
is defined by white lines
and marked GUR
Ø
Roads and Paths- White
lines: White lines areas tying
into roads or paths have same status as the roads or paths, and thus
they are obstructions not ground under repair. Ø Slow play WILL be penalized in accordance with the USGA Local Rules and Amendments Ø The inside curbs on ALL paved roads adjacent to the golf course are defined as Out- of-Bounds. (Must replay from original spot) Ø Behind the cart barn Path #9 green is considered out of bounds. Ø Any ball lost in Pampas, Cord, or Facahatchee grass will play as a lateral hazard. If your ball is not lost then the player may choose to take an "unplayable lie" under the rules of golf. Ø Newly planted staked trees are mandatory free relief and are considered immovable obstructions per the "Rules of Golf'
Ø
Drop Areas: Can re-tee
or use drop area. Ø A provisional ball can be used for all water hazards to keep up with the pace of play. Ø In case of a weather delay, please mark your ball where it lies and return to the clubhouse. Ø Inside of waste bunkers players will be given free relief from any footprint or sand burm caused by the rake. The relief allowed will remain within six inches of original spot. Pace of Play Pace of play is an issue that affects every golfer at The Monarch Golf Club. One group can influence the pace of play of dozens of golfers. A group's pace should place them directly behind the group in front of them.
I. If a group is behind in their pace of play: A. They will be issued a warning that they need to increase their play. B. If they have not closed the gap when the" ranger" next visits them they will be asked to either increase their pace of play or let the group directly behind them play through or pick up their balls and move to the hole designated by the ranger. C. If a group refuses to cooperate, the ranger will notify the Pro Shop, who may send a member of the professional staff to suspend the current round with further disciplinary action taken at a later date. II. Disciplinary Action

If the group in question is a member group and they fail to
complywith procedures, they will be subject to the following: B. If the group in question is a public group and they fail to comply with the procedures, they will be subject to the following: 1. First Offense: Issued a warning 2. Second Offense: Issued a rain check and asked to leave 3. Third Offense: Banned from course
Depending on the severity, management reserves the right to enact any disciplinary action necessary to remedy such situation.
When a member is suspended, monthly dues must still be paid.
Abusive Behavior
Abusive behavior, verbal or otherwise, toward employees at the Club will not be tolerated by the Board of Directors. Billy Casper Golf will determine the disciplinary action to be taken. |
